Definition: Unoriginal; ordinary


Her dress was banal compared to what Lady Gaga wears.



Antonym: Original


Lady Gaga is original in her choice of clothing.



4. Extol

Definition: To praise


Catholics extol God.

Definition: Pleasant sound
